This Norfolk track is a former US air base converted to a race track in 1951 after the withdrawal of the American Air force.
Both the track and the paddock area were updated in the late 90’s, and while the facilities are not on a par with some of the more prestigious circuits in the country, they are more than adequate for most race meetings, and the action on the track more than compensates.
This circuit is responsible for some of the highest straight line speeds of any UK circuit. Top speeds coupled with fast corners and tricky braking makes Snetterton high on the list of racers circuits. The highlight of the lap has to be the famous Coram corner, where cars are drifted and balanced on the limit.
