Race Experience

Obtained Race licence at Silverstone Race Academy in April 2004, and completed six single seater races at the school on the Stowe training circuit under supervision. Entered the Brands Hatch end of season Endurance race in Morgan Areo as co-driver to Phil McKelvey last September. Have attended several track days since with Jaguar XK 140 and competed in one XK Class hill Climb at Loton Park.
• 2005: Snetterton Power Torque Morgan Motor Company Challenge, Snetterton Sports Car V Saloon Car Challenge.

Thoughts on 1st race

Great experience, pleasantly surprised and impressed about the friendly camaraderie shown by all competitors in helping newcomers through their first proper race, and feel part of the action.
The race its self…… Better than sex and longer in duration, although the objective here, strangely, is with more practice to finish quicker!

An eye opener on how much work is done behind the scenes to enable such an event to take place. Not just the Marshals etc but also all the admin staff as well.
